Whispering Thunder: Nicol's Boxing Debut!

When it was decided to start building fighters. Never thought this day would happen where we have our first female fighter.

It's not as common as you think it would be.

But we were wrong!

There are various ways you can become a boxer. Some ways are easier than others and some are more challenging than others.

The only thing we ask for if you're wanting to become a fighter on the Dawg House Fight Team is consistency.

Conditioning

Seems easy right? So you would think. There's a reason why we only have 3 active fighters. With Nicol being the newest on the fight team.

Now when you see Nicol you wouldn't think much of her.

We're being realistic.

She has more disadvantages going against her than advantages and it shows.

Even though she knows about these disadvantages. Nicol's actions speak for itself. {Fuck it, hold my drink —- and watch this.} BoOM!

Working the heavy bag.

Nicol is performing to prove to herself.

As the months go by she continues to perform. In the gym and outside the gym.

Then it happened……

Coach Junior and Coach Mat both decided she was ready. So we gave her the green light and started her fight camp.

Nicol's training picked up, the intensity picked up and she is now sparring with the other fighter.

We have pushed her to her limits time and time again. You can see struggle in her eyes but again she pushes and breaks her limitations.

As her fight camp was in process Coach Junior got confirmation that Nicol is matched up for her boxing debut! What's even better about this debut. It's a championship fight too!

With her first fight being so big. Nicol locked in even more.

It's as if she evolved over night.

As we are 3 weeks out. We know Nicol is going to put on a tremendous fight and know she is going to dominate in her first fight.

However in the end. Win or lose. All of us at Armored Fitness MMA and DAWG HOUSE Fight Team are highly proud of her.
