The Boxing War Within

Updated: 5 days ago

It has been 7 days since a fierce night at the 4B boxing event. There were so many spectacular fights and outstanding fighters.

Overall the event was awesome, no complaints there and The Dawgs House Fighters performed their hearts out. With each fighter facing challenges with these past fights.

With so much emotion going into this event let's get in the fights.

Boxing In The Basement: Monster Is Back

Warming up with boxing mits.

Luis was an exhibition fighter before becoming an amateur fighter. With the two being completely different levels of fighting. The first 2 amateur fights Luis started off kinda slow. He was playing a big defensive game. Which is good for exhibition level.

However if you're not the aggressor then you're not the one getting the points in amateur boxing. But then the third fight happened!

Round 1

Boxing match.

Luis has been the most active he's ever been in a fight! The first round the opponent started off throwing big combos and none of them were landing. We get to the second half of the first round and both fighters start landing strikes.

Luis' opponent was moving quickly but with both fighters landing fierce strikes. Luis gets stopped with an 8 count. It didn't damage Luis but it definitely woke him up. But since the opponent was more aggressive in the first round. That round went to the opponent. And both fighters are back in their corners.

After boxing match.

Round 2

The second round takes off and both fighters meet in the middle exchanging blows. The crowd goes into an uproar cheering! The corners are screaming their hearts outs.

Walking to the boxing ring.

Neither fighter was letting up on firing strikes landing blow for blow. With each fighter deciding they are wanting to end this fight in the second round. Left, right, you can hear the punches landing from both fighters. The crowd becomes even louder.

The fighters come back to their corners for one more battle to the championship.

The corner gives Louis one last plan of attack.

Round 3

Third round starts with both fighters exhausted. But neither fighter is choosing to fall.

Boxing match.

With Luis executing the plan and trapping his opponent on the ropes. Luis gets to work throwing flurries after flurries. All of round 3 Luis is doing, we'll keep him on the ropes but his opponent is fighting back with every bit of strength as possible.

And Luis' opponent gets the 8 count! Returning the favor from the first round! With about a minute left in the fight. Luis is ready to charge in.

After boxing match.

With both fighters giving it everything they have. With the crowd at the top of their lungs. It was a tremendous fight. This fight goes to the judges and Luis' opponent takes the title with a very close call.

-A Boxing Nightmare Becomes Reality

Warping hands for boxing match.

When it comes to Diego his heart is put into this sport. He doesn't miss a day of training and he takes in all the advice he can get. He sets the example at the gym and is looked up too by so many. With accepting this fight and keeping in mind. Diego's opponent had 60 fights already. The young champion was only 5 fights in. So yes, I'm sure you could believe the pressure. However he stayed focused.

Round 1

The first round took off and both fighters met in the middle. With Diego knowing the level of experience of his opponent. He does very well testing his opponent out, staying patient.

Boxing match.

As his opponent is doing the same thing with Diego. The round starts to pick up. Both fighters are throwing heavy blows. You could just feel the impact of each punch. When you thought it couldn't get any more intense.

The 10 second sound off was heard and both fights went into a battle frenzy. 2 elite warriors putting an entire round in the last 10 seconds. Then the bell rings and both fighters go to their corners.

Round 2

As you can guess. Round 2 starts off with a bang. Moving all around the ring both fighters are moving swiftly as possible. Trying to catch one another. Diego backed his opponent into the corner knocking his mouth guard out.

This must have woken up Diego's opponent. He came back with a fire in his eyes. Diego goes to take control of the fight and his opponent was throwing massive counter strikes on Diego.

Boxing Match in the corner.

Then it happens, Diego gets 8 counted in the second round. Although the ref was giving the 8 count everyone could clearly see That Diego wasn't fazed by the damages done.

As the second round continues it's starting to show the gap between the 2 fighters. Diego doing his best, his opponent was still landing counter strikes here and there.

The fighters hear the 10 second warning and both fighters pick it up pace with more explosive blows!

[ That 10 second warning more of a enhancement to fighters then a time warning. ]

Round 3

We are going into round 3 and you can see that the first 2 rounds are starting to catch up with Diego. He is starting to slow down. Breathing is getting heavy. But the corner has one more strategy in place.

Walking out to the boxing match.

Diego walks out to the center of the ring. With Diego giving it everything he has. His opponent was staying one step ahead of him. With every heavy hit Diego takes he returns onto his opponent as if he's still unfazed by these blows.

Although Diego was returning back onto his opponent it wasn't enough. Diego gets 8 counted for the second time. His opponent charged his legs like a bull ready to bring another flurry of heavy blows to Diego. The second 8 counts were cleared. His opponent charges in with brute force. Diego is fighting back with all his might. Making it to the second half of the third round.

Although Diego is tired he doesn't allow that to slow down. With both opponents striking and moving from one end of the ring to the other end. Massive over hands, powerful hooks and piercing straights being thrown all over.

Warming up with boxing mits.

But it still wasn't enough. Diego was still falling one step behind. With 10 second warning going off Diego took 3 big blows back to back and the ref had to call the fight with a stoppage. We knew and Diego knew he could have gone till the bell rang. But it's the ref's number one job to keep the fighters safe.
